Privacy policy
Effective October 20, 2026. This privacy policy covers the Title Twister app, including its beta testing, not other Bourbon Barrel Games apps. Features available to you depend on your app version.
Who operates the game
Title Twister is provided by Bourbon Barrel Games. Privacy and support questions can be sent to [email protected].
On-device information
The app stores game settings, puzzle saves, scores and history, progress, earned coin and Reveal balances, selected tile themes, and purchase-delivery records on the device. This information supports gameplay, recovery of unfinished local rounds, and avoiding duplicate rewards or purchases. Local data can also be subject to the device's Apple backup settings. Deleting the app can remove local progress; it does not necessarily delete records stored by Apple services.
Online play
Online play uses Apple Game Center for player authentication and game services. The app uses Game Center player identifiers and display names, match information, scores, outcomes, achievements and leaderboard submissions as applicable. CloudKit-enabled builds also use an iCloud-scoped account identifier, match offers, claims, scores, results and timestamps in Apple's CloudKit service. Matchmaking records in the app's public CloudKit database can be read by authenticated iCloud participants; private completion and progress records are stored separately in the player's private database. The app does not receive your Apple Account password. Development testing is separate from release gameplay and existing device balances.
Purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases. The app receives verified product, transaction, entitlement and refund information to deliver purchases, avoid duplicate credit and reconcile refunds or reversals. The iCloud purchase wallet stores balances, transaction-delivery records and spending records in your private CloudKit database. An app-specific account token associates a purchase with that wallet. Reveal delivery records can include the puzzle and its saved board so an interrupted action can recover the same letter without charging twice. Device, earned, Development-test and purchased balances are kept separate. TestFlight purchases use Apple's Sandbox and do not charge real money; test purchase balances are separate from future paid balances. Bourbon Barrel Games does not receive your payment-card details through the app.
Network services
The app contacts Apple services for enabled online features, purchases, and a time check used by daily features. Providers receive technical information such as network connection information as part of those requests. Single-player puzzles do not require a developer-managed game account. The app's catalog is bundled rather than fetched from title-data providers during each puzzle.
Advertising and tracking
The current app does not include advertising, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics SDKs. This statement applies to the app, not automatically to the hosting provider's website services. Support messages
If you email support, the information you choose to send, your email address and correspondence are used to investigate and respond. Please do not send passwords, verification codes, payment-card details or unnecessary personal information. Email is handled through the business's email service provider.
Your choices and retention
You can play single player without signing into online game services. Manage Game Center, iCloud, App Store and backups through Apple's controls, and stop using optional online features at any time. Local game data remains until it is cleared or the app is removed, subject to Apple backups. Cloud match, progress and purchase records are retained to support match history, balance recovery and duplicate-purchase prevention; the app currently has no scheduled automatic deletion of these records. Support correspondence is retained for resolving and following up on requests. Email [email protected] to request access, correction or deletion. We will review the request and explain any limits, including records controlled by Apple or needed for transaction integrity or legal obligations. The app does not offer one control that deletes every local and Apple-hosted record. Do not delete the app as a troubleshooting step if you need to preserve local balances.
