Getting started

Choose Single Player, then a difficulty and category. Drag a letter into a blank, or tap a letter and then its destination. Check locks correct letters in green. An incorrect Check costs 5 points. A clue costs 10 points. Reveal uses one Reveal and 10 points to lock a random correct letter. In the upcoming update, Reveals are supported in single player, Daily Challenge and new online matches; older online matches keep their original assistance rules. Your score also decreases by 1 point every 10 seconds, and the game ends at zero.

Online matches

Open Play Online, then press Play Online under Quick Match when you are ready. Online play needs an internet connection and Game Center sign-in. CloudKit-enabled builds also need iCloud sign-in. Both players solve the same title; the higher score wins. Quitting an active online match counts as a forfeit. New CloudKit matches give a human opponent 24 hours after joining to submit; an unfinished turn then counts as a forfeit when processed. Older matches keep their existing rules. Opening the lobby alone does not start a match.

Waiting for an opponent

Twister Bot becomes eligible after 10 minutes without a human opponent. Processing happens while the relevant app is open or when the player returns with a connection; this is not an always-running server bot or an exact ten-minute guarantee. A joined human player is not replaced. Older Game Center matches may still need Game Center to return turn ownership. Reopen the app and refresh Your Matches. If a match remains stuck, email us with the error or status message.

Coins, Reveals and purchases

The upcoming Shop offers coin packs and a 15-coin Reveal refill. TestFlight purchases use Apple's Sandbox and do not charge real money. Purchased-wallet Reveals can be used in supported game modes; the usual score penalty still applies. The iCloud purchase wallet is separate from earned online coins, Development test wallets and existing device balances. Use the same iCloud account to recover its recorded balance, and Sync or retry a pending action before spending again. Restore Purchases checks eligible Premium access and unfinished purchases; it does not recreate coins already spent. Refunds can reduce the purchased wallet or temporarily hold spending if the refunded coins were already used. Sync to check for an Apple refund reversal, or contact support. Do not delete the app to troubleshoot: existing device balances do not have guaranteed reinstall recovery. Real-money coin sales are not enabled during the current beta, and availability can differ by build.

Phone feeling warm?

Stop playing and let the phone cool if needed. For a useful comparison, test unplugged with normal brightness and close other demanding apps. Send us the phone model, iOS version, app version, play mode, whether CloudKit testing was on, whether the phone was charging, and roughly how long it took to warm up. Never leave a phone in heat to reproduce a problem.

Reporting a problem

Email your device model, iOS version, the app version from Settings, what you were doing, and the exact error. Screenshots are optional; hide private information. Never send Apple Account passwords, verification codes, payment-card details, or other secrets. We do not promise an automatic response time.
